People use social media in various different ways for different purposes. In order to get positive and desired results from social media, marketing your approach of using it should be based on your objectives.

Many of the people illustrate professional development by traditional methods and program of studies. But the success of an ongoing business in largely relies on their own Professional learning Networks (PLNs). Internet based social life can intensify your span through development of PLNs, which can be suitably used for improving one’s expert development.

  • Increase sales: It is noble and natural way to acquire huge amount of new customers which will result in sales growth.
  • Attract traffic to your website: Social media is a universe of users where you can throw your marketing content and attract them to visit your website at least once.
  • Improved Customer Relationships: Social media helps in marketing, but it is also a great platform to interact with your consumers. It gives opportunity for getting feedback from customers which helps building good brand value.

Cons:

  • Wrong social media strategy may result in loss of customers and profits.
  • There could be need of additional resources and staff for your online presence.
  • Social media platforms need constant and daily monitoring. If you fail to manage your presence on Social media you may not get positive results.
  • Great exposure and open reach has some potential risks which could result in information leak, hacking and negative feedback.

Issues with Social Media:

  • Reputation issue: A wrong social media strategy can cause reputation damage. Too many negative comments from users will result in bad goodwill. Many legal lawsuits can occur if company mention another companies name and products negatively in their comments.
  • Intellectual property issue: These issues can arise by information leak, spying and hacking of company’s social media accounts.

Power of Video in a Blog:

  • Unique idea: Numerous bloggers are able to write a blog and they start posting a huge text passage. People prefer to see things rather than reading a huge text post. So, adding a video would be a great idea to express your point.
  • More exposure: Videos are more likely watched, enjoyed and shared by people than text content. This could be also experienced by us when we use Facebook if we post a video and text content then there are most chances of getting likes easily on video rather than text post.
  • More flexibility: Videos has more flexibility then texts, because you can use different communication styles such as animated graphics, special effects, background sound and voice over voice.
  • It can go viral: Videos can go viral more quickly than text content. Your marketing video can go viral by clock speed if you use proper content, animation and graphic illustrations
